About the Athlete
Benjamin "Benji" Peak is one of America's premier Greco-Roman wrestlers, currently ranked No. 1 in the country at 72 kilograms. A product of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Peak became a WIAA state champion in high school before going on to star at Northern Michigan University.
Benji now trains full-time with Position Wrestling USA — an elite independent Greco-Roman club based in Edmond, Oklahoma, founded and coached by Olympian Sam Hazewinkel. With a dedicated facility and a singular focus on competing for World medals, Position Wrestling represents the cutting edge of American Greco-Roman development.
His 2026 season saw him claim Pan American gold, cementing his status as one of the top Greco-Roman athletes in the western hemisphere.
